Probably the nicest and largest East County outdoor venue for a party or event. There are actually five lakes and all of them have rental sites except lake three. Lakes one and five offer most of the rental sites available. All of the sites are lake front and all offer at least some shade. There are a lot of great reasons to have your party at Santee Lakes, but these are our favorites; *Ample space for just about any bounce house at almost every site *Shade at almost every site *Lots of green grass *Rangers are always available and do a nice job of keeping your rented site open until you arrive *Amenities include spray ground, paddle boats, fishing, playground and general store. As well as, a pizza place. *Bathrooms!! Some of the best maintained in a public park in all of San Diego County *Almost all sites are very close to parking, so loading and unloading is very convenient. *A few things to keep in mind; *Santee Lakes is very popular so leave a little extra time to get thru the gate and find parking during peak season and weekends. *Santee Lakes has a ton of feathered residents and sometimes kids too, so drive slow. It will take a few extra minutes to get to your site. *Santee can be warm in the summer and early fall.
